Course Bookings

Book a Course

Step 1     Review our courses and make a note of the course name and number.

Step 2     If you wish to have the course conducted at your premises or book an individual placement at one of these courses please refer to our course schedule (PDF, 91Kb) and choose a date which suits you. Placements are subject to availability. Subject to the availability, we will attempt to accommodate your needs.

Step 3     To lock in your reservation you just need to:

a)       Confirm what date and time you would like to make you’re booking

b)       Fill in our individual accredited enrolment form (PDF, 97Kb) or our group accredited enrolment form (PDF, 95KB) and send by mail or email to jan@fire-rescue.a.cnz

Step 4     Make arrangements to pay your non-refundable booking fee by Electronic Funds Transfer payment based on the Total Course Fee, inclusive of GST, into the following account.

Step 5     Once this has been done, we will send you confirmation of your booking via e-mail, and then we will issue you/your company with joining instructions and pre-course learning rescues.

Course Bookings and Fees

Fire & Rescue New Zealand (Ltd) is unable to reserve any booking unless accompanied by the full Course Fee, which should be returned with a completed booking form for each individual course member. (The booking form may be photocopied).

Bookings for Fire & Rescue New Zealand courses will be accepted on a first come first served basis.

Provisional bookings will be accepted. However, a booking will only be regarded as confirmed once a completed booking form and payment in full has been received.

If your first preference date course is full, your name will be placed on a reserve list and enrolled onto your second preference. If a place then becomes available on your first preference, you will be notified of your options. Fire & Rescue New Zealand will endeavour to send confirmation at least 2 weeks before the course date. Final details about the course, how to get there, and other arrangements as applicable will normally be sent out approximately 2 weeks prior to the course. Please do not make any reservations for flights or other transport for courses before we confirm your booking

Cancellation Policy

Once a confirmed booking has been made, cancellation terms apply as follows:

­          up to 28 days before course

– 

full refund

­          14-28 days before course

– 

full refund less a 25% administration charge

­          less than 14 days before course

– 

full fee is payable

In the unfortunate event that Fire & Rescue New Zealand cancels the training course for reasons within our control, we will arrange for the training to take place on an alternative date at the same or similar venue within a reasonable timescale alternatively any monies already paid will be refunded in full. We cannot be held liable for cancellation due to reasons outside of our control.
