If so, then Fire & Rescue New Zealand is ready to respond to your child’s birthday party with “Simon the Fireman and his Fire Engine” based on the following:

BACKGROUND – As a private Fire Service, Fire & Rescue New Zealand has over 14 years’ experience in serving industry and the community. Our firefighting, workplace emergency response, fireworks displays and entertainment services are tailored to meet the needs of your family, Whānau or business.

All parties, events and safety seminars are conducted by actual Firefighters with real life operational experience in fire and medical emergencies, ensuring that your event also serves as a fire-prevention educational and safety tool.

Simon the Fireman and his Fire Engine:

• can be contracted for birthday Parties (all ages), weddings, parades, tailgating, advertisements, company picnics, carnivals, grand openings, or as static display to attract attention to a business.

• can also provide fire prevention programmes at schools, camps, churches and other non-profit organisations.

SPARK UP YOUR EVENT – by making it unique and memorable with “Simon the Fireman and his Fire Engine” and add some excitement to your Childs birthday party.

Give your child something totally new and exciting for their birthday. We offer three different packages to choose from which guarantee a smile on your child and their friend's faces.

Hose Package 1 - Simon the Fireman and his Fire Engine arrives at your chosen party location,in full firefigthers uniform, and meets your child and their friends. The adults can take photos of the children in and around Flick the Fire Engine. The children will then get a chance to go out for a ride in his Fire Engine. If there are more than 5 children, multiple rides can be taken.

All children will receive lollies or fruit on the journey. If there is time left over, even the mums can enjoy a quick ride with Simon and his Fire Engine.

Hose Package 2 - Simon the Fireman and his Fire Engine arrives at your house or location of your choice,in full fireman's uniform, and meets your child and up to 4 of their friends, and asks them if they would like to help us onboard, whereby they will be taken for an hours journey and delivered to McDonalds, Burger King or restaurant of your choice in his Fire Engine with sweets for the journey and a fireman's helmet for the birthday child to wear.

Hose Package 3 – Simon the Fireman and his Fire Engine arrives at school home time, and meets your child and up to 4 of their friends at the playground/school gates in full fireman's uniform, asks them if they would like to help us onboard, then take them for an hours journey in his Fire Engine, with lollies or fruit for the journey and a fireman's helmet for the birthday child to wear. 

After the fire-calls are completed all the children will get a chance to blast some water from the hose so watch out parents, YOU MAY GET WET!

TURN OUT FEE - $180.00 for the first hour (minimum, additional travel feed may be charged depending on your location outside of Napier/Hastings). $125.00 per hour each additional hour (half-hour increments are okay at $75.00)

We are flexible on additional time and price if required, as long as we are notified, when booking is made.

PRIOR BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL – All bookings are subject to availability. Your choice of date may not be available, but alternative dates will always be offered.

CONDITIONS OF BOOKING – Any booking is considered provisional until we receive the required booking fee deposit from you. Fire & Rescue New Zealand reserves the right to offer the booking to another client should the the required booking fee deposit not be received from the Client within 7 days from the initial enquiry.

Once a booking date and time are confirmed, and the booking fee is paid, should the booking be cancelled for any reason, the booking fee will be forfeited and cannot be carried over to another date. Receipt of the required booking fee deposit will be deemed acceptance of the terms and conditions. 

CONFIRMATION OF BOOKING – If you are satisfied with the above, then we kindly request that you lock in your reservation by:

• Confirming your preferred date, time and Hose Packageoption by email
   
• Making arangements to pay your non-refundable booking fee deposit of $180.00 by Electronic Funds Transfer payment into Fire & Rescue New Zealand's bank account.
   
• After submitting the booking fee, we will verify your date and time against our bookings calendar by email or TXT.
   

CONFIRMATION OF ARRIVAL – You will be contacted one (1) day prior to booking date and 15 minutes prior to arrival by txt.  We endeavour to arrive at the appointment on time but subject to weather and traffic conditions, we can arrive 10 minutes early/late.
